Er, yes. I was trying to avoid people seeing that dismal effort on my part... (the strategy of telling everyone about the missed mate-in-1 on board 9 was working up until now). Slight typo in the header for the first game. The U160 Board 7 game, the Black player was Greater Manchester, I believe, not the Middlesex indicated by the 'Mdx'.

Yes that's right, Yorks board 7 (their highest graded player) managed to confuse young Jake who played an unfamiliar (to him) set up and missed a good chance

By my quick glance through the download of the games, we were losing, at some stage, 7 of the 8 games we drew, 3 of which were definitely worse when the draw was agreed

A typical close match, both sides had chances and the one that missed the most lost

This made me chuckle - I'm not sure if playing endings the Yorkshire way is a good or a bad thing!
