Re: BRITISH CHESS CHAMPIONSHIPS - THE GAMES
I think a dual feed from more than one server was the plan but this has yet to be confirmed

Yes one option but messy - not sure if that is the plan?James Coleman wrote:You can watch them at http://www.2seeitlive.com/british/briti ... 3a/tfd.htm
I had to go to the 2seeitlive site itself and access them from there

Thanks for the link, James. The championship website still has the round 2 games when you go to "live"!!

Another feed at http://rs7.blueapricot.com/british/2011 ... 3a/tfd.htm
I would however recommend going to the live site once they have sorted that as 'either' might be right

You can see the next eight boards on that site as well: http://rs7.blueapricot.com/british/2011 ... 3b/tfd.htmCarl Hibbard wrote:Another feed at http://rs7.blueapricot.com/british/2011 ... 3a/tfd.htm

Thanks for the link James. You can also change the 3a to 3b for boards 7-14.Carl Hibbard wrote:Another feed at http://rs7.blueapricot.com/british/2011 ... 3a/tfd.htm

But don't rely on that please use the official link once they get the main site sorted as either could changeJon D'Souza-Eva wrote:That's old news.LozCooper wrote:Thanks for the link James. You can also change the 3a to 3b for boards 7-14.

Griffiths-Hawkins on board 9 looks completely mad - but the fact that Hawkins has taken next to no time suggests it's some kind of theory.

Re: BRITISH CHESS CHAMPIONSHIPS - THE GAMES
Does anyone know what's going on board 9? Is it theory? Is it just completely bonkers? Haven't a scooby this end...

Yes, it was all following Marin's analysis in his latest book on the English, though Rhys Griffiths deviated from Marin's recommendation just now by playing 16.Be3 rather than 16.Qd8.

Looks dangerous for Black to try to keep his exchange, say by 16... Qxd1 17. Rxd1, where is the rook going then, surely not 17... Ra6 18. Bc5, when White must have excellent compensation.
