I was looking at the Betfair site. Malcolm Pein is looking good value at 350-1! Aaron Summerscale is 360-1 and will doubtless be pleased he has less chance to win the tournament than someone who isn't even playing!

As far as I can see Mike Surtees is playing theory today, even if it's his own...

mike surtees when he played proper opening lines was 211.keith castled queenside now he out for blood !!! iam expecting a good second week from keith he usually very strong towards the end of british going in to the last week.

In fact most of the games in this round look like they wouldn't be out of place in 1953. Not exactly much hot theory about (well apart from Arkell-Surtees, obviously...)

yes gormally seem to have gone for a old line against howell which is a big suprise maybe he prep up this morning i guess to suprise him.
