Well, g6+ doesn't seem to work, but I think gxh6 might.

V difficult to analyse positions like Williams-Chapman because they are outside our normal range, For what it's worth, if White has no immediate win, then Black might find himself in zugzwang.

Would have thought a draw more likely in Williams-Chapman. Even if white gets pawn f7 blockaded by Bf8 then pawn on b4 can be used to divert rook when king marches up. Rook has very limited mobility

Guess that's right. My zugzwang stuff was based on an inability to see that White can't gain a move.

I think Williams Chapman is definitely bound for a draw. I thought Simon could make Terry work a bit harder. I was looking at 51. gxh6 Bxf6 Kxd2 Kg6 Kc2.

Fritz is now suggesting the sneaky 54...h5! and the last white pawn is toast on h4 after Be1.

After 52.Kxd2 b3! is interesting but should still be drawn.

They must be analysing, as White just moved into check. Presumably a draw was agreed.

Drawn after 118 moves. I suspect the board failed some time ago and they updated the live feed with moves from the scoresheet.
