I think yours is the 1980 First Edition.
A very good book, where I started to learn about the titans of chess.

Justin has had a go at literally everyone at some point (and I say that as somebody who thinks his posts here do far more good than harm)

The third chess book my parents bought for me was:
Steve Davis Plays Chess
by Steve Davis and David Norwood
Steve Davis was my favourite snooker player. I think Steve Davis was from Romford, where I was born myself.
He also played chess at Brentwood Chess Club for a while and coincidentally I lived in Brentwood before moving up to Lancashire.
I remember David Norwood was part of the BBC2 commentary team for the World Chess Championship between Nigel Short and Gary Kasparov.
