First off: the (new) menu item >Internet > Init Default Boards. What does it do, what is it for?

Does it reset a potential previous result on that board to a null result (as though nothing has happened)?

I cannot see any way at all in which it is related to any specific board. It is placed under the Internet drop down menu, rather than the Input or Pairings drop down menus.

Okay, so I asked Heinz Herzog, the author of the software.

I got the following response:
Hallo Paul,
dieses Menüpunkt tut nichts. Werde ihn im nächsten Update unsichtbar machen.
Habe wahrscheinlich etwas testen wollen,
mit freundlichen Grüßen

Heinz Herzog
So the menu item should not be there at all - it doesn't do anything and is probably something that HH wished to test. It will be removed in the next update.
