Screen Recorders

What's the best free screen recorder that will allow you to record your games and either commentate on them as you play or play through the games afterwards and commentate them, so something that records the entire screen or part of it. I've tried about ten but they only let you do it for a few minutes and mess you about, I am hoping to find one that is free and unlimited in terms of how long the game goes on for with a simple interface. Any suggestions?

Andrew Martin has recommended "Camtasia" to me more than once but I've yet to give it a go.
