I suppose you could always try asking the ECF. They might know......

I've e-mailed the ECF board to ask and will get back to you when I have the answer.
Best wishes,

Re: ECF Complaints Procedure
doesn't it depend on the subject matter of the complaint?!
Re: ECF Complaints Procedure
I mean I'll check if we have a set procedure. As a general response I would say raise the issue with the relevant Director and then with the Chief Executive if necessary. However, there may be cases when someone wishes to complain but would rather be able to refer to some guidelines as opposed to contacting the person or persons they wish to complain aboutJonathan Rogers wrote:doesn't it depend on the subject matter of the complaint?!

Re: ECF Complaints Procedure
I assumed that the fundamental purpose for the existence of the ECF was so that people could complain about it.

Re: ECF Complaints Procedure
Whatever the procedure is I hope that rule 1 is that the recipient acknowledges receipt of the complaint!

To quote a sporting analogy, the ECF falls at the first hurdle on that one - one or two people excepted.Kevin Thurlow wrote:Whatever the procedure is I hope that rule 1 is that the recipient acknowledges receipt of the complaint!

Re: ECF Complaints Procedure
The correct procedure is:
You make an initial complaint.
They ask for further details.
You reply.
They file your complaint (normally in a cylindrical metal container).
Within two weeks this container is transported by a local council employee to a more appropriate location.
The complaint is then examined in detail by seagulls.
