Good-ish news - but a long way to go for a weekend

I agree, but a poor turnout might put off sponsors for resurrection of a week long FIDE, which would be a shame.

Well I've signed up and I know four others who have, and I believe the Falcon's Nest has filled up its quota of single rooms - since there's a limit on the number of entrants, it might be as well to enter now if you're planning to go!
