Does it suffice that the invitation be printed monochromically? I mean not in color, just Black/White

The games were available as pgn files. I don't think they ever posted any annotated games other than the coverage in various magazines.

Yes. For example, http://www.londonchessclassic.com/2016/ ... deop15.htm will give you a link to download the PGN file from the 2016 event.

But these seem to be unannotated

They are. The backroom team at the London Chess Classic has neither the time nor the energy to annotate 100 games per round.

If you want to have a go yourself at annotating some of those games, I'm sure it would benefit your chess.
