Interesting pairing problems to solve as I gather that Manx won't be at the final weekend; suggestion is to pair as an "almost" APA ensuring the top teams don't meet until the final weekend

Indeed no Manx for the final weekend and something resembling an APA adopted - with a print out explaining it at length :) Seeded to keep the top seeds apart until late on etc.

Impressive work from the arbiters, but they'll have to work to keep it together.

Thanks David; tough weekend for SoA by the look of it

We should have more idea of the promotion candidates by the end of this weekend

Yes, indeed. A state of affairs that has led to some disquiet among my colleagues. Why, they ask, do they get drawn against both undefeated teams in the same weekend? Still, we'll do as we always do, and lump it

All the teams won yesterday who you might expect

Nice venue; I was a bit surprised to be in our 3rd team, just a pity I couldn't play today and we had so many illness withdrawals this week

The draw is up for the remaining rounds 5-11; would be good to see a link to it at some stage
