The candidates2013.com site appears to be new. It has placeholders from the Kazan Candidates and the London Chess Classic.

There's this site as well http://www.worldchess.com/candidates/london.html which has been around for a couple of months. There was an interview about Agon a while back which came up with the revelation that the World Chess Championships were being branded "World Chess Championships"

If they don't, I'll need something else to get autographs on (if the players and organisers allow that, in such a high stakes tournament there might be less time for that sort of thing, and only after games of course) - any suggestions? Chess books by those participating, maybe. I've seen people lug around chess boards to get signed, and T-shirts, but that seems silly.

I would imagine the players would be under fewer obligations to cooperate with fans and media due to the prestigiousness of the event. Although events such as LCC and Wijk aan Zee are highly presitigious, they are just closed APAs with nothing more at stake other than prize money and glory of being the winner.

Thinking on it, you are probably right. Will be interesting to see if there is more tension than usual.
