Good to see they also use my pgn4web tool for some of the live pages, "non flash viewer" and "mobile devices" options.

They even use a reasonably recent version of pgn4web. For instance, if you go to the proper URL for the "mobile devices" page:
http://livegames.fide.com/london2013/no ... /games.pgn
then you can click square E8 and start the analysis board, move pieces around and get a (lighweight) engine analysis...

If only they spelled properly the PGN filename, at the moment you dont see the game placeholder because instead of the proper PGN filename "http://livegames.fide.com/london2013/live/games.pgn" the "non flash viewer" currently points to "http://livegames.fide.com/london2013/games.pgn" and the "mobile devices" adds a space at the end of the PGN filename.
Just mentioning those errors here in case someone notices and fixes those spellings before the start of the games...

Corrected now, probably the fix was in the works even before this note...

Either you click on the dots at the bottom of the board in order to get a games list; or you click squares F3 and C3 to switch to the next/previous game.

Looks as if the main site is not available now

It's really quite a familiar problem. When even a tiny fraction of the billions of world chess players attempt to watch something like the Candidates, the websites buckle under the load. Mark Crowther's TWIC site was slow to reach and he was reporting increased volumes. He's set up play through coverage as well.
