It's more drawn than ever mate. The best he could probably get is winning the d4 f4 and h3 pawns but White will get the h4 pawn and Black will be a pawn up in a totally drawn oppo coloured bishop ending. There's no winning chances whatsoever here for either side.

be6 is coming how white defend the h pawn this is collapsing white bishop worse than a pawn now this looks hopeless to me

Lovely win by Stephen Gordon today - surely a candidate for game of the day? I love the way he sac'ed the exchange and then calmly castled, leaving White defenseless.

Eggleston seemed out of his depth with practically no threats the whole game.

If I didn't play the Najdorf already this game would make me want to play it!

Will the Championship event be using accelerated or hyper - accelerated pairings for the entire event?

Does this explain why most of the key games have already happened?

Will the final week be a series of anti - climax type pairings?

I guess I am missing something here?
