I suppose it might be a bit off-putting for your opponents while they are trying to think about their move

Hardly mate

I played way way to fast. My coach called my clock times a "*-ing disgrace" lol. So hardly my finest weekends work

How (do you think) would your coach view JRs clock times?

It is unutterably stupid to play two sets of chess games at different rates in the same period. Each set of games will suffer because you are not geared up for them. Any good coach would tell the player that. Of course if he was just a dilettante, he will ignore the advice. Nothing wrong with that, the whole purpose of playing chess is to enjoy yourself.

Would it also have been beneficial for someone to keep visiting the Andrew Martin commentary room every afternoon (and sometimes more than once) during their matches in the British Championship (irrespective of whether or not their match was being featured there) ??? !!!

If true it would be cheating.

By the way are you related to the now departed Dr A Cula?

Cheating eh ??? Perhaps prizes might need to be redistrobuted and maybe the ECF might need to employ a doorman next year to ensure it does not happen again ... that is if it is true, of course !!!

btw Roger .. was A.Cula related to the cricketer W.G.Grace ? - he was another Doctor who was useful with a bat !!!
