Apologies, but a technical question for Arbiter's corner:
Can anyone advise how to overcome a difficulty in outputting results as web pages from the Swiss Master pairing program?
The index.html file that it created contains an error message, "Sorry, frame support required!"
I am using Swiss Master for Windows 5.6 (build 10) and Windows 8.1 operating system on a laptop.
Any suggestions?

It sounds like your browser isn't configured to view pages with frames.

Re: Publishing Web Pages from Swiss Master
It might be, except I can view the Swiss Master Results pages on the Essex/Southend website.
My browser is Firefox 37.0.1 and I've never really experienced any problems with it before.
I only installed Swiss Master yesterday and managed to enter a set of results from a previous congress. It was trying to write an html file to a directory on the local C: drive when the problem occurred.
Is there a setting in Windows 8.1 that needs changing?
Should I try a different browser?

Probably nothing to do with the browser.
Did you create a folder into which you could publish the SM web pages?
Did publishing the web pages open Firefox automatically and then come up with an error?
Are you publishing the 'final' results of the event rather than the final round pairings? In which case change the parameters from "pairings" to "final rankings" before hitting the publish button.

Thanks Adam,
Your suggested checks were really useful.
It turned out that my default program for .html files had been set to Notepad rather than Firefox.
Resetting the file association cured the problem!
