The Norwegian TV site nrk.no ran smoothly from the start.Mick Norris wrote:
Do we know which sites had live coverage of the moves?
chess24 and chessbomb were late getting under way, possibly not unconnected with the problems at the official site.
chessdom didn't have anything and neither did chessbase, notwithstanding their various disputes with Danailov and the Bulgarians.

My mother could set it up properly if you have that sort of cash and AWS can deal with the load so to blame an attack is poor.

There’s an extraordinary report on chess.com
https://www.chess.com/news/anand-beats- ... paign=news
While Agon threatening some chess website owners with 10 years imprisonment, their own official commentators were using chessbomb to find out the moves of the games because the Agon website wasn’t working.

Peter Doggers writes:
You absolutely can't discuss an ongoing chess game properly without a move list. It's farcical. The actual game page lacked the move list (let alone the time spent on the moves), it lacked a proper engine (sometimes the evaluation bar, apparently not patented by Chess24, showed the advantage for the wrong player) and several times during the day the overview page (with all four boards visible) wasn't updating the moves

"Yes, but I prefer a game with a better chance of cheating."

It's absolutely unbelievable that the official commentators had to look at Chessbomb to find the moves being played! And then double that stupidity to try to ban Chessbomb from publishing the moves! What the hell are the commentators supposed to do then? If they can commentate on a game without knowing the moves they deserve a medal.Jonathan Bryant wrote:There’s an extraordinary report on chess.com

Chessbomb and Chess24 both running normally today as far as I can see. Any others?

Even the main site seems fine although the commentary is a little dull.JustinHorton wrote:Chessbomb and Chess24 both running normally today as far as I can see. Any others?

Topalov looks like he is beginning to struggle again.

According to Tarjei Svensen:
"Agon announcing legal action against Chess24, Internet Chess Club, http://Chessgames.com and Chessbomb for broadcasting Candidate games."
