Not much of a legal expert, but if Agon have secured a court injunction against broadcasting then I imagine that the other sites will have no choice but to comply, pending the legality of the ban being tested in court.

It's only speculation but it doesn't really matter, does it? Let's say there is an injunction and it was served by a Russian judge. It would be pretty stupid for any global chess sites to ignore such an injunction regardless of whether they were based elsewhere.

But that wouldn't explain the lack of moves on the NRK website as they've reportedly paid a lot of money to be allowed to broadcast the games.

On what basis are you saying they are not complying? Sites have stopped broadcasting. It would be stupid to ignore because arguments about whether what Agon are trying to do would be irrelevant and people would end up in prison.

I wouldn't be surprised if this is the key to the whole thing, because it is probably sourcing from there that the other sites were relying upon as their defence against any ban. Agon's case is that it is not possible to source the moves other than from their site, and the Norwegian outsourcing is a massively loophole that they had initially overlooked.
