Any idea yet if England finished in the top 10?

EDIT: Greece and Hungary drew, so England definitely in the top 10. After Ukraine, USA and Russia (taking the first three places), you have India, Norway, England, Peru, Turkey, France and Poland on 16 points.

I think so.

USA and Ukraine have 20, Russia has 18, then on 16, England, Peru, India, Norway, Turkey, France and Spain and I don't think anyone else can make 16. No idea how the tie breaks would work out, but we must surely stay ahead of Peru.

Dunno what's happening in Eljanov v Beliavsky: it says 1-0 but I guess a draw with misplaced kings is a possibility.

Isn't the tiebreak sum of opponent score excluding the lowest

I reckon USA have won, now that board 3 of Serbia v Netherlands is done, assuming my arithmetic is right.

USA's tie-break is 410.5. Ukraine's tie-break is 404.5.

(Note: This post went through four iterations while results were finishing and I was typing!)

OK, my arithmetic is wrong. It is actually 413.5 v 404.5 to USA.
