Couldn't remember Garry's actual age. As for that marathon game at Eastbourne, I spent what seemed forever defending with rook and bishop against a rampant queen - with pawns on both sides - to no avail. Annoying as I was in contention for some prize money!

I sympathise as I spent several sessions defending Q vs Q+P at Guernsey, before finally having to resign on move 133.
