Andrew Robson, in his Times bridge column, often puts in a 'her' for an unspecified player. Good practice. Just sprinkle the hims and hers and worry about more important things.

After last week tweeting at a Woman Grandmaster that a video of her gave him an erection, this week, Nigel Short posts a creepshot of 2 random women in a cafe, and calls them lesbians because they greeted each other with a kiss. This man is the Vice-President of FIDE.

Since there are more FIDE Vice Presidents, surely it is a more heinous crime to refer him as THE VP.

At the start of the FIE Laws of Chess it states
In these Laws the word 'he', 'him', and 'his' shall be considered to include 'she' and 'her'. Nobody has ever challenged this.

I make no comment as to the merits of @NoJokeChris's criticisms. But I think that the issues which he has raised are rather more important than the issue which you have raised.
