It would be good to meet you there. Sadly I cannot do many congresses due to a busy work and family life. Banking on my son's enthusiasm to get me in more this year!Simon Rogers wrote: ↑Wed Aug 24, 2022 12:28 amWhere is Tattershall Lakes?Stephen Westmoreland wrote: ↑Wed Aug 24, 2022 12:21 amTattershall Lakes, with the missus, 3 kids and dog. Looking forwards to Scarborough and the rare time out of work/family commitments. The middle one is coming with me to Ilkley in a few weeks.
It will be good to finally meet you at last in Scarborough.
Are you going to the Leyland Congress this weekend?

Carl - thank you for the amplification. Something I'm sure people will wish to reflect upon.Carl Hibbard wrote: ↑Wed Aug 24, 2022 8:41 amThat is a fair assessment yes.Nick Ivell wrote: ↑Wed Aug 24, 2022 8:27 amThis seems to imply that 'community standards' are irrelevant when it comes to private messages (in which I seldom indulge).

It is not really fair to expect me to moderate PM's if people cannot place nice on those really.J T Melsom wrote: ↑Wed Aug 24, 2022 10:59 amCarl - thank you for the amplification. They are private and I certainly do not want to be digging into the database even if is possible I would consider it an invasion of privacy as well as major hassle.

Perhaps PMs which are taken badly should be reported to the police. It's the sort of thing they like, and not as though there is any actual crime they need to be bothering themselves with.
