Dunno about that, but I certainly blame "noise pollution" for failing to actually win a few of my won games in the past.

I'm sure that Fischer would have approved of this study, maybe one day they will also prove that playing in overly wide spaces and the hum of electric devices can adversely affect your performance and he will be fully vindicated.
