inals are being played on Saturday 6 July

Minor – Sussex v Lincolnshire at Whittlesford
U2050 – Greater Manchester v Cleveland at Bradford Latvian Club
U1850 – Hertfordshire v Greater Manchester at Coventry (Warwick University)
U1650 – Greater Manchester v Yorkshire at Bradford Latvian Club
U1450 – Middlesex v Essex at Whittlesford

Prior to joining the NCCU< G Man generally has only 2 teams, sometimes only 1, so to get 3 teams through to the finals is impressive, albeit the logistics aren't easy

Congratulations to all the winners today

First time G Man have won 2 titles in 1 day I think, pity Yorkshire were too strong in the other

Just want to say a big thanks to all the teams at Bradford yesterday for making our jobs as arbiters very easy. Also a big thanks to Yorkshire for sorting the venue and the equipment. Aside from having to wear "posh" clothes (not worn them since before COVID) it was a very straight-forward day.

Just finished typing up the games today and with only minimal occurrences of the inputter's dilemma:
-what white wrote
-what black wrote
-what the inputter thought happened
-what the computer says is the best move
-what actually happened
with all five being a different move

You omitted the players not knowing what colours they had or whom they were playing, on which board, in which section.

It's always fun when you have overseas players - I usually managed with French, German and Russian scoresheets, then Howard Williams totally confused me with Welsh algebraic (which he had every right to use).
