Jonah Willow
When I last looked, Jonah was level at Bullet on the Chess.com site with someone called Hikaru
- both on 3171.

Re: Jonah Willow
He doesn't appear on the leaderboard, I think the reason is that the rating was achieved on Nov 10th 2020 so he would be deemed inactive. Either way, it's still an amazing rating.John Moore wrote: ↑Sun Sep 22, 2024 4:48 pmWhen I last looked, Jonah was level at Bullet on the Chess.com site with someone called Hikaru- both on 3171.

Loz - that's odd. When I looked, his last games showed as being played today.

Can think of few things more meaningless than bullet "ratings", to be brutally honest.

I think that those games are unrated as his rating is the same for all the games listed today.John Moore wrote: ↑Sun Sep 22, 2024 5:50 pmLoz - that's odd. When I looked, his last games showed as being played today.

Ok thanks Loz. Matt, I doubt that you'd think that if your bullet rating was 3171.

I wonder if Jonah has ever seen the film 'willow'?

I have never partaken of it and never will. Its basically not chess as far as I am concerned.John Moore wrote: ↑Sun Sep 22, 2024 7:08 pmOk thanks Loz. Matt, I doubt that you'd think that if your bullet rating was 3171.

I heard Botvinnik played a game of chess on a bullet train once but didn't enjoy it.

Botvinnik didn't think any game was serious if he couldn't prepare for it!

I haven't but I guess I probably should since he is supposedly a distant relative.

I agree totally. It's like comparing game shows such as Sale of the Century with Mastermind - speed of reaction is all that really matters, breadth and depth of knowledge hardly at all.Matt Mackenzie wrote: ↑Mon Sep 23, 2024 4:08 pmI have never partaken of it and never will.
