These three new ones are superb. They really are.

Sneaky pref for No1. but if No.2 had a Knight instead of a Queen.
(to me that Queen seems to hint of a Rolex watch logo), I'd go for that as well.

I still like the original but if we must change then the new number 1 or 2. (with a Knight).

Hi guys I am new to this forum but I sent my above entries to the ECF directly and had an acknowledgement from Stewart Reuben. He said he liked them and suggested cahnging the way the letters were set from profile to landscape. I then sent them back but have not heard anything since then. I am a little disappointed with this as I would of at least expected some sort of feedback. I am also a free lance designer mainly as a hobby at the moment but hope to change that moving forward. Please let me know what you think.

is the "chess" above the knights really necessary? Apart from that, i like them

No this can be removed however the words ECF on their own may be construed for anything or any subject. So I was just trying to place emphasis on the fact that ECF was associated with Chess but these can easily be removed.
