Would the forum be prepared to set up a topic for MCCU matters? The MCCU forum set up by Sean was poorly used and I now wish to close it, prefering that members use a central site such as ECForum.
Many thanks - Ray Collett 01905 454754 [email protected]
Can you post this question on the forum please, I am not 100% sure it would be appropriate to have a specific MCCU section but other people might like the idea of having their own section
I am happy to fit in with whatever the members feel is appropriate on this one

Re: Anyone for an MCCU Topic?
We've already had MCCU topics discussed on here (notably the digital clock thing), so I don't see why not. Perhaps other organisations wishing to host fora could use this so that the MCCU isn't the odd-one out.

Re: Anyone for an MCCU Topic?
I quite like the idea of keeping us all together in a few areas rather than letting people roam too freely - there are people I have come accross on this site who hardly ever post outside of their favourite sub forum and it can become a bit unharmonious.
Any opinions expressed will not be held to account.

I initially thought this was a thread promoting a new chocolate bar
As a born and bred midlander I'd have no objection.

I still remain to be convinced we would not end up with too many topics but I need to check the capability of this software a little more closely firstLozCooper wrote:I initially thought this was a thread promoting a new chocolate bar![]()

Re: Anyone for an MCCU Topic?
Surely that's the same on any forum? No-one is going to be interested in every single topic discussed on a forum, and most people wouldn't have the time or the inclination to post on all of them anyway.Joey Stewart wrote:I quite like the idea of keeping us all together in a few areas rather than letting people roam too freely - there are people I have come accross on this site who hardly ever post outside of their favourite sub forum and it can become a bit unharmonious.

Re: Anyone for an MCCU Topic?
It is just that so many of the side forums are more or less dead (with a post being made once every few weeks, or even months) and as the MCCU falls into the catagory of county chess it would be nice to be able to put the topics there to help try and keep them both from suffering the same fate.
