How quickly these games can turn. Two draws with Gelfand sacrificing a rook to force perpetual check whilst Grischuk had an extra pawn but possibly his lack of time allowed Kramnik to win it back.

I missed all 14 moves of game 2 of Grischuk-Kramnik. Either disappointment at game 1 or with one eye on the possible blitz Grischuk allowed black comfortable equality before offering a draw.

After Kamsky's 19.exf5, it looks like Gelfand could just have taken the knight on d5 because of the back rank threats.

Interesting opening choices

Gelfand switching to c4 and didn't appear to be successful with it, will he change again for game 3?

Kramnik persisting with the same opening he tried twice in the classical games and without success, wonder if he'll try d4 in game 3

Just a continuation of the classical games, Kramnik happy to draw with black and Grischuk doesn't seem to gain any opening advantage he feels is worth trying to exploit - someone has the wrong strategy, not sure who

I'm fairly certain Kamsky-Gelfand game 2 ended in a draw by repetition albeit the game disappeared before I saw the result.

Yes it did. Kamsky dodged a bullet there. 19.exf5 appears to be a blunder.
