Well, White resigned, so maybe there is another line. Not sure what happened there.

EDIT: Strange. Sreeves-Hawkins was showing 0-1, but now a game in progress has appeared.

Didn't Gormally just blunder a pawn in the opening. Then offered the draw on the basis of 300 elo difference. Slightly surprised that Richard Britton, a player of vast experience and probably a bit undergraded, accepted.

What's the assessment in Short-Conquest? White looks a safe pawn up and winning.

Draw offered by Britton I think, he played the last move. I imagine part of him was hoping Gormally would decline, difficult to believe white has enough.

I don't believe Simon Ansell played 34 bd4

Thanks for that, Jack. Suppose I should have realised that seeing as the last move was Black's. Still, it was just a blunder in the opening.
