Agree. Bf4 was an unsucessful choice in my opinion. But gf6 Caro is part of Shorts normal repetoire now. Quite an interesting one too, since the Caro is attracting a different sort of Black player than in the Karpov era. At GM level a lot of the games are tactical Advance lines.
