I generally exercise self restraint when posting. It is very east to descend to name calling when provoked.

I'll stick with that approach and say I consider it unlikely that a person with Paul Tolbots views has much familiarity with the gay rights movement. Unless he offers evidence to the contrary, I will assume he is mistaken about which groups were involved in direct action.

I assume the distinction between those groups which campaign in different ways is irrelevant to him. But for others, I think it may be relevant that Stonewall is not an extremist organisation.

Why is Ray Keene causing such problems what is he gaining from this publicity.

Perhaps he's being paid to make a big scene, no matter how much the story esculates it won't find itself in the tabloids.

Simon How much did you lose on your bet?

Guess he is trying to be remembered for something, I'd expect better from him to be honest he's stooping quiet below the belt.

He's displaying huge amounts of schadenfreude. Stirring it up in spades and then will sit back and watch it all fly.

You either
a) haven't read the Bible at all in spite of your claim, or
b) skipped right past anything at all to do with David and Jonathan, or
c) don't read very well, or
d) read it with a mind already made up.

Your statement is risible. David was bisexual. Get over it.
Give me chapter and verse.

Thanks. Usual Mondodrivel, perhaps made more annoying by the medium. None the wiser. Signing off and watching Wallander, malt in hand.

20 years ago, Ray Keene left the BCF (as was) under a cloud. I think that's not a controversial statement.

[If you're not aware of the background you might want to check this post for the article in the Sunday Times that kicked it all off]

RDK, after beginning an association with CJ, suddenly appears at the Opening Ceremony of 2011 British Championships - although aforementioned cloud never lifted.

Coincidence that large number of CJ supportive tweets are coming from RDK? I'll leave that for you to judge
