Chess paintings

Did a search on 'chess' here:

Came up with six works of art involving chess:

Thought they might be of interest.

Oh wow. Thanks!

Wasn't there a picture of Hitler and Lenin playing chess, even though such a game probably never happened?

Some of the paintings have very dodgy boards.

Love this one:

And is this one really based on the actual position named?

This one is quite striking!

On a slightly different but sort of related subject, vistaprint.co.uk have an offer at the moment in which you can buy a mug and / or t-shirt with a printed picture (which you upload) for 99p / 69p respectively. P&P is a bit steep, as you might expect, but I bought a mug plus a t-shirt for just under £7 inclusive. The relevance to this thread is that the pictures I chose were two chess paintings. Anyway, here are the links:

I have had t-shirts and business cards from Vistaprint, and the service is excellent and simple to use. However, the volume of junk mail they send you after ordering is spectacular!
