I'm attempting to set five different time controls into a DGT XL clock which has none of them by default. Anyone an expert in doing this?
My main stumbling block is setting a fixed number of moves prior to moving to a new phase of the time control.
Also, is there a device to set a whole load of these clocks simultaneously?
Thanks for any help!

You have to do each clock seperately I'm afraid! I take it you know how to set the thing?John Upham wrote:I'm attempting to set five different time controls into a DGT XL clock which has none of them by default. Anyone an expert in doing this?

Only available in Fischer timings, but you can set the increment to zero.John Upham wrote: My main stumbling block is setting a fixed number of moves prior to moving to a new phase of the time control.

Ok. Tell me exactly what the time control is and I'll tell you how to do it. It is the XL clock you have, right?John Upham wrote:

Re: Setting DGT XL clocks
Here are the TCs I wish to set :
1. 90'/36+adjournment
2. 75'/30+15'
3. Fischer : 60' + 30" increment
4. G90 : easy peasy of course
5. G75 : easy peasy
The DGT manual talks about setting a number of moves for a TC. It lists the steps but does not mention the number of moves. Maybe I'm being dim.

The people from DGT Projects have sent me a useful URL showing how to do a tricky example :

Hope that helps someone!
