Could this be a record ? ....
In the 2012 Manchester congress, five of the six players on the top 3 boards in the last round of the Open section were all products of 3Cs (Oldham) - which, of course, meant that there were two all-3Cs matches.
The current ECF grades of the five were 221, 210, 194, 185, 182
