I am aware of http://www.hampshirechess.co.uk/hca/junior.php

and http://www.nationalschoolschess.org.uk/

and http://hampshirejuniorchess.co.uk/

and http://www.hampshirechess.co.uk/contact ... p#training

and
Secretary for Junior Chess
Joe French
01256-472537
but have always struggled to find up-to-date information about Hampshire Junior Chess.

I normally advise my Hampshire schools to get involved with http://www.bjca.org.uk/ which is very well organised and regularly sends out updates and has an excellent maintained web site.

Naturally, I'd rather recommend Hampshire but I simply cannot bring myself to do so.

Hello Maha nice to see you have joined the forum. As you may see I started the Hampshire megafinal thread. Usually I ring Joe French (01256) 472537 and he sends me the results for the Hampshire megafinal. However this time I have done so and I have yet to hear from him (It is now nearly 2 months since the megafinal), and so I may ring him again.

Hopefully between us we can get the information. I am sorry it has taken you so long to receive the results, although I wish to make it clear that my only role in proceedings is to turn up on the day to help.

John - Thank you for this. I was not sure whether Maha was looking to see the results of her own offspring in the UK Chess Challenge or making a more general enquiry.
