I'm going to stick my neck out and say I think we will hold both those endings for another 2-2 via 4 draws ... Nigel seemed to do a bit of a Houdini there - I kept thinking that f6 would eventually drop-off and willing him to play fxe5 or even f5 (though of course he'd be much worse after either) - then he just gives up the exchange and seems to coast to a drawable ending. I guess that's why he's a GM and I struggle to make 200.

Yes, it would appear that he resigned in a position, where, according to Chessdom, he stood slightly better. I suppose we'll have to await some more skilled analysis, or another explanation.

Well, when I attempt to do the pairings in a while, I'm going to assume it was a 2-2 draw (the live boards person might have put the Kings on the wrong square). There's a very good reason for this assumption: I can't be bothered to work out all of the results of the teams on 5 points, who could end up on 7 at the end of this round.

I would find white agreeing a draw without playing it out equally as strange as black resigning
