Seems to me this smacks of a touch of disrespect/contempt.'Scuse my ignorance,but who is Vicky Cohen? If someone does something all the time,and is able to support themself(+family if necessary) from the activity,then I would have thought that this is enough to qualify the activity in question as being the person's job,even if it is not a paricularly well paid job!

I think she meant it partly as a joke at her own expense, as she plays a lot of poker herself (and has won a lot of money too allegedly).
