I'd assume the 3v2 rook ending is a technical draw. Nigel will presumably ask his opponent to prove it.

David has a piece for two pawns and there was a draw on top board, so the match is drawn at worst.

They got an extra 30 minutes at move 40.

I've seen Keith win 3v2 a few times, maybe it is just a case of channelling your inner Arkell

Isn't Nigel's ending just a draw - though not much fun to defend against the mighty Nosher. I thought that white was supposed to play g3 and h4 rather then fanny around with his rook. If there are any winning chances, Black has reached something like his optimum position.

It ends as a draw nevertheless, with quite a nice stalemate.

Technically, her opponent blundered first with 37.Rbd1, as if Sarah had found 38...Qg4 (as pointed out immediately by the site chess engines), the game would have been won. I wonder if either player saw the full range of back rank combinations possible there?
